Peaceful Demonstration for the Rights of Women in Afghanistan

On 8.8.2026, a peaceful public demonstration will be held in solidarity with the women and girls of Afghanistan, who continue to face severe restrictions on their fundamental rights and freedoms.

Participants will call for the restoration of women’s rights to education, employment, freedom of movement, and equal participation in society. The demonstration also aims to raise international awareness of the ongoing human rights situation in Afghanistan and to encourage continued global support for Afghan women.

We invite journalists, human rights defenders, civil society organizations, and all supporters of human dignity to join this peaceful gathering.
